Throughout October, guests journeyed into the eerie depths of Romanian folklore with Romanian Dark Legends: Monsters, Vampires & the Undead. Held every Sunday, this captivating series of informational sessions unearthed spine-chilling stories rooted in centuries of myth and mystery—from bloodthirsty creatures of the Carpathians to ghostly spirits and restless souls.
Participants discovered how Romanian tales of the undead shaped modern horror and vampire lore, tracing the origins of Vlad Țepeș (aka Dracula), exploring superstitions surrounding strigoi and moroi, and learning about rituals once used to protect villages from dark forces. Each session blended historical context, immersive storytelling, and cultural insights to reveal how these legends influenced regional identity and continue to spark global fascination.
