We were delighted to participate in this Romanian celebration organized by St. Mary’s Orthodox Church Ladies Auxiliary and sponsored by Evergreen Bay Resort, located at 34243 Co Hwy 46 in Park Rapids, MN. The event welcomed the public to enjoy ‘carnati’, pastries and wine while exploring Romanian cultural items. Attendees were treated to a traditional Costume Parade, a dance performance by the Izvorasul ensemble, lively music, and the chance to learn the ‘horă,’ a circle dance for all. Thank you to all who joined us in creating lasting memories and savoring ‘A Slice of Romania’ at Evergreen Bay Resort.
