May 11 from 10 am – 4 pm
We were honored to present the exhibit “Between Superstition and God – Life in a Romanian Village” at the Romanian Embassy in Washington DC on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10am- 4pm.
The exhibit showcased the rich spirituality of the Romanian people and the dual system of beliefs, filling the days, months and year of the villager so that the ancient, pagan beliefs were never completely left behind when Christianity was embraced in the first millennium.
This exhibit was designed by HORA founder, former president and exhibit curator Raluca Octav in close collaboration with HORA board members and the Romanian photographer Gabriel Motica.
