Board members Oana Zayic & Lily Griffin attended the Courageous Leadership Event: Efforts to Educate Women and Girls in Afghanistan organized by Global MN. Roya Mahboob, Founder & CEO of Digital Citizen Fund, and Pashtana Durani, Founder of LEARN Afghanistan, shared their courage as female Afghan social entrepreneurs to fight for education for girls.
This inspiring and thought-provoking experience helped our board members realize that courageous leadership and recognizing the contributions of amazing women are shared across all cultures. HORA recognizes, in honor of Women’s History Month, all of the incredible contributions made by Romanian, American, Afghani, and other incredible women across the world.
