We were honored with the presence of the Romanian Ambassador to the US, Andrei Muraru, who visited HORA exhibit and the Romanian American Cultural Center, met with HORA Board and members, RGS members and professionals and discussed ways in which the embassy can help the community in the future. He also met with church congregation members from St Mary’s and St Stephen.
During his visit, Mr. Ambassador met with the MN Governor, Tim Waltz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, St Paul deputy Mayor Jaime Tincher, Secretary of State Steve Simon. Mr. Ambassador was accompanied by Patrick Ledray, Honorary Consul of Romania in Minneapolis during his productive meetings with representatives from the Minnesota Trade Office and the Economic Club of MN, Global Minnesota, Medical Alley Association, and American companies with operations in Romania and Eastern Europe: Medtronic, Cargill, and International Feed.
